All About "Pi"

To all of our friends who are in the northeast and snowed in, we have a solution!  Why not make pies?  Not only are pies a comfort food, but they will also help keep you warm.  Tonight we made two delicious apple pies.  This recipe comes from our friend Lucille; she is 103.  Starting at a young age, her mother taught her how to make pies.

It's important to make sure that you have all of the ingredients before getting started.  Brittany and Kat are gluten intolerant, so we cook with gluten free flour blends.

It's important to look good while you cook.

Keaton is wearing a Mossimo v-neck, a girly apron, and Express jeans.  It is important to keep your clothes nice and clean while you cook, no matter how girly the apron may be.

I am wearing an Airwalk shirt and my favorite khakis from Dockers.

Brittany (my wife) is wearing a Banana Republic sweater, SO jeans, and an "Always Kiss the Cook" apron.  Don't worry, I did kiss the cook.

Kat is wearing a John Ashford checkered shirt and American Eagle jeans.

Not only can  you look good while cooking, but your food can too!

Sometimes a pie needs a little something special.

Remember to keep your hotness away from the pies.  They need to cool.
